iSPACE has provided the Greater Cincinnati region with innovative STEM programs, events, and learning experiences for students (grades PreK-12), educators, and families. iSPACE typically serves ~500 schools and over 30,000 students and educators annually. Our vision is to create a STEM literate society and encourage a skilled STEM workforce that positively impacts our region’s economic vitality as well as our national security. |
Which social causes (up to 3 choices) does your agency address through its programming? * |
|
Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | One of the iSPACE core values is open access for all. While our programs attract many gifted students and students with a passion for STEM, we actively recruit and profoundly impact underserved students including minorities, girls, and students with disabilities. iSPACE recognizes that there may be economic, behavioral, emotional, intellectual, or physical limitations that interfere with some students’ abilities to engage in many learning experiences. At iSPACE, we find the means by which to remove or lessen obstacles so that all students can participate in our programs. |
