Community Garden Fresh produce grown and given to those in need! Volunteers help to plant, tend, harvest and deliver fresh produce to local food pantries. We have 2 acres filled with a wide variety of vegetables and herbs. Weekdays and Saturday mornings we are always working in the dirt. Volunteers who share their time to help us work in the dirt also get to take home a share of the harvest!Property Management and Land Stewardship We have 190 acres including 3 historic barns, an 1820 farmhouse and 7+ miles of mowed trails. The to-do list is never ending. We are also working to eradicate invasive plants and return the property to a native habitat which is a long process but is important to do. Volunteers can help out from simply helping us pile brush, cut back overgrowth along the trails or more for those skilled with equipment such as weed eaters, chainsaws etc. We have organized work days throughout the year or small groups/individuals can come get some tasks accomplished when it work with their schedule.
