What is the mission of your organization?
Mission Statement: The Tipp City Area Arts Council (TCAAC) is dedicated to the promotion, development and support of the visual, musical, performing and literary arts in Tipp City, Ohio and surrounding areas. We provide family-friendly events and contests—free of charge when possible or minimally priced, when not.
Vision Statement: The Tipp City Area Arts Council envisions a thriving community where the arts inspire creativity, foster cultural appreciation, and bring people together. Through support, education, and engagement, we make the arts an integral part of life in Tipp City, Ohio and beyond. For the past 16 years, Tipp City Area Arts Council has provided arts-related programs for our community; supported area organizations & schools in providing art-related events/projects; and promoted our member artists – both budding and professional. We have in the past and will continue to collaborate on or support special art events in our community.

Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists?
The Tipp City Area Arts Council is a unique arts organization in that we believe our mission is to promote our area artists in a way that makes our events free or nominally priced for the affordability to the families in our community. We serve the Greater Dayton region. Many of our participants hail from areas outside of Tipp City (proper) and the Miami County area.
