| What is the mission of your organization? | |
| At The Four-Seven, Inc., our mission is to restore hope, dignity, and connection for justice-involved individuals and their families. We believe successful reentry is not only about rebuilding lives after incarceration but also about rebuilding the bonds that make those lives whole. Through programs that begin inside correctional institutions and extend into the community, we help men and women prepare for meaningful, purpose-driven lives after release. Central to our work is family engagement — nurturing relationships that strengthen families and break cycles of separation. We host father-daughter dances, father-son events, and our cherished Christmas Miracle gatherings, where children can come into prisons to celebrate the holidays with their parents in an atmosphere of love and hope. These moments of reconnection remind families that healing and belonging are possible, even in the hardest circumstances. By combining reentry support with opportunities for family restoration, The Four-Seven empowers individuals to return home not only ready to contribute to society but also ready to rebuild and sustain strong, loving families. |

| Impact Areas Equality & Social Justice / Equity and Inclusion The Four-Seven helps individuals returning from incarceration rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. We promote fairness, opportunity, and belonging by breaking down barriers like stigma and lack of access. Our family events — including father/daughter dances, father/son gatherings, and the Christmas Miracle — bring love, connection, and hope back into families separated by incarceration. Life Skills We teach practical tools for success — from communication and goal-setting to financial literacy and parenting. These skills help people make positive choices, strengthen relationships, and build stable, productive lives. Poverty By helping returning citizens find jobs, housing, and community support, we break the cycle of poverty and incarceration. Each restored life strengthens a family and creates a ripple of hope in the community. |
