| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | There is a great need for the services we provide as the poverty rate in the Newport/Covington area is upwards of 45%. Many families are suffering the effects of generational poverty coupled with the tragic effects of the Covid pandemic. Many non profits eliminated their services during the pandemic whereas we never shut our doors and have been flooded with requests for assistance. |
