What is the mission of your organization? | Our Mission is to work with school administrators to keep students seated in the classroom by providing alternative resources of school discipline that focus on Youth Development. Our goal is to reduce the number of school suspensions and expulsions by providing students with training in areas of conflict resolution, anger management, de-escalation, leadership, social-emotional intelligence, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. |
Which social causes (up to 3 choices) does your agency address through its programming? * |
|
Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | Statistics show that kids that are suspended from school are more likely to end up in prison due to the lack of education. Our goal is to help youth understand the real-life consequences of behavior while keeping them engaged in the educational process. We are working along with law enforcement to disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline. |
Does your organization have volunteer opportunities available for students? * | No, sorry. |
