| As a local St. Vincent DePaul conference, our volunteer members (Vincentians) offer emergency assistance with utilities, food, clothing, furniture, and many other services to our neighbors in need. We serve the Northwest Dayton area surrounding the St Rita, St Paul, and Precious Blood parishes. This program includes some of the poorest communities in our region. Our person-to-person assistance offers hope and friendship while helping individuals stay in their homes. Nearly every activity enables direct contact with recipients: phone calls and home visits to identify/assess needs; offer of prayer to enhance spiritual foundation; pantry service; provision of Christmas baskets; explanation of additional sources of help; and general conversation. | |
| Does your organization have volunteer opportunities available for students? * |
Yes, Grades 9 – 12
|
| List possible volunteer opportunities -or- a link to where they can be found on the web. |
