What is the mission of your organization?	We share the blessing of God's food( through our choice Food Pantry) with the needy in the 45237 neighborhood. In addition to providing food we also provide clients with referrals to other agencies who can help them with clothing and furnitur

A grant of any size would help us provide food and personal care items to those who are in the greatest need. Our clients range in age and family size from new born babies to grandparents who are raising their grandchildren on fixed incomes. We are currently serving over 270 families per month. Since we are in partnership with the Freestore Foodbank we are able to purchase the majority of our food through them. In the past year we purchased 111,032.48 pounds of food and paid only $14,531.76. That equates to an average of 13 cents a pound. You could be assured that your funds would be used wisely and shared with those who lack the necessitous in life.
Any other comments you would like to share with the students who might be reviewing your request?	While we have seen our client numbers rise each year (by almost an additional 100 families per month) our revenue has recently been dramatically reduced by our church. We believe that we are called to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ and that God will provide. We operate with a completely volunteer staff of approximately 25 and pride ourselves on the individual service we are able to afford each of our clients. We thank you for the opportunity to present our pantry to you for consideration.

Comments	The whole concept behind this program is wonderful. I know very little about it (other than what I gained on the web) but can readily imagine the benefits for all involved. The idea of empowering students through their own organization of giving is powerful. Having been in education for over 40 years I am thrilled to see a program of this magnitude serving the needs of so many.
