| What is the mission of your organization? | |
| We provide essential toiletries and supplies for those in addiction recovery centers, providing dignity, relief, and confidence to someone fighting for a better life. Our focus is mainly on Recovery Kentucky, Kentucky’s Department of Corrections Recovery Centers and their SOS (Safe Off the Street) residents. They are often coming straight from jail without so much as a change of clothing, and often, for a variety of reasons, have very little support from family or friends. These centers operate on the “share” system which can provide a financial hardship on residents that have support or on staff who take their own funds to fill in the gaps. | |
