Our programs aim to keep pets in homes by offering high quality adoption processes, community education, post-adoption support, and free & low cost resources for pet needs and veterinary care. We support other shelters with a wide transport range (bringing pets from overcrowded shelters to our adoption program weekly) to prevent unnecessary euthanasia in our community, and surrounding counties, as well as disaster support. Our education department aims to nurture kindness, empathy and responsibility by guiding students to think critically about the interconnectedness of animal welfare, social justice, and environmental stewardship, with a focus on how our choices impact the world around us, and empower participants to make choices, and take action to solve problems, and make a difference.
