What is the mission of your organization? | |
Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all foster organization. We do not have a paid staff or a building, so all money raised goes straight to the care of our cats. We focus on quality adoptions and tell adopters that once a cat is a Purrfect Friends cat it is always a Purrfect Friends cat. That being said, we have gotten several of our cats back this year, many of which were adopted years ago. All had different circumstances – divorces, health, moving, even sadly death. Even if we are “full”, we never turn away a cat that is a Purrfect Friends cat. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts. |
