| We are a pay what you can and pay it forward non profit community café. We feed people. We also offer people the opportunity volunteer to cover the cost of their meal. People volunteer for many reasons: some are hungry, some are looking for a place to belong or make an impact, some are satisfying community service hours, some are meeting school or other organization requirements and some simply like to volunteer at One Bistro. We believe in a hand up and not a hand out. We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus and love people where they are and encourage them in their journey. This cafe depends on our volunteer model as well as our pay what you can pay it forward model. We have kept our delicious meals between $6 and $9 since opening in 2012. Our model is such that no one ever leaves the bistro hungry unless they choose too. We host a beautiful Community Meal each week between 5 and 7pm. We serve a delicious meal and no one is expected to pay or volunteer. Everyone is served the same delicious meal. We have volunteers who serve during that time. And we have others who help sponsor the meal. We serve about 120 people each week in two hours. We also send another 30 to 45 meals out the next day to other ministries so they can feed their clients. You donation will feed people and help us keep our meal suggested prices at $6 to $9.
