What is the mission of your organization?
The process of healing, self-improvement and discovering your life purpose for a greater good can be “addicting” – it’s a Mission Addiction! We at MA are “addicted” to helping others. We teach and coach individuals, couples and families how to heal, restore and transform their lives, to become the best version of themselves, as God intended.
We help a broad spectrum of people and issues, from stress and anxiety, to all things mental health and addiction, to marriage, family and faith issues. |

Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists?
The Surgeon General stated at the end of 2023 that mental health is “the defining public health crisis of our time.” There are no quick fixes – or there wouldn’t be such sobering statistics on abuse, divorce, anxiety, depression, suicide, addiction, veteran issues – and more. We believe the crisis is about the lack of connection between physical, emotional, relational and spiritual health. What’s needed is a more holistic and comprehensive approach.
Our Map program is a fast-track series that will help you master total health and improve inner peace. Classes and discussion integrate key physical, emotional, relational and spiritual concepts, while personal mentoring helps participants apply, practice and put it all together. Our services are currently offered live in the Dayton, Ohio area and online via Zoom, anywhere in the country. People from Florida and the east coast to California and Alaska have tuned in to the Map. Everyone is welcome! |

Does your organization have volunteer opportunities available for students? * |
Yes, Grades 6 – 12
|
List possible volunteer opportunities -or- a link to where they can be found on the web. |
There’s an online application at this link where you can share your availability and interests: https://mission-addiction.org/ There are limited roles available, but we’re very flexible and we tend to customize them to the individual. Feel free to suggest something we don’t have listed! We currently have a need for a local photographer/videographer. We’re always interested in student coach/mentors. |
