| What is the mission of your organization? | Madonna House is a living and learning center for single mothers and their young children. Our sole purpose is to lay the groundwork for a more meaningful future for these women. We believe that to make a lasting impact in their lives and that of their children we must deal with the “whole person”. While caring for their physical needs through food and shelter, we require all residents to work on improving their parenting, education and vocational skills. |

| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | We rely solely on donations from our supporters and any grants we apply for so we really like to encourage people to stop by for a tour so you can see in person what we are all about. We can tell you about our program and volunteer opportunities. We feel that when people come to Madonna House and see what we do they really want to help and support our program even more because they have a better understanding of what we are all about. |
