What is the mission of your organization? | |
The Jack Quehl Foundation was created in memory of our brilliant, successful, and fun-loving son Jack who died on September 20th, 2021 due to fentanyl poisoning. Jack’s story isn’t one about addiction; it’s about making a dumb decision that cost him his life. We know we can’t bring Jack back, but we can work tirelessly to spread awareness–hopefully preventing other families from experiencing the same devastating loss due to fentanyl.
Fentanyl is killing a record number of young people including many who didn’t know they were taking it. The Jack Quehl–Do It For Jack Foundation is on a mission to protect our youth against the threat of fentanyl poisoning. Our focus is to educate students and their families on the dangers of using any type of recreational drug including counterfeit pills sold as Adderall, Xanax, and Percocet. It only takes a small amount of fentanyl–comparable to a few grains of salt–to cause an overdose or death. We are just getting started. Every dollar counts. Donations will be used to support the foundation’s goal of developing a fentanyl awareness and education program for area schools and organizations. Thank you for your consideration. Do It For Jack! |
