Indigo Hippo’s mission is to broaden access to creativity, reduce waste, and inspire a sense of possibility by giving creative materials a second life in the hands of our community.

Indigo Hippo is a Creative Reuse Center (think “thrift store for art supplies”) and our shop is also Pay-What-You-Can, meaning all the supplies available at Indigo Hippo are offered in price ranges instead of having set prices, so folks can choose what they pay for items within a sliding scale. We aim to make sure everyone has access to the materials they need to be creative and support their individual well-being without a financial barrier.
