The mission of House of Bread is preventing hunger and building community. We meet this mission by serving a free hot nutitious lunch every day of the year in a welcoming supportive environment. |

House of Bread works to prevent hunger and build community through our daily lunch program. We serve lunch 365 days of the year in both our main dining room and our family dining room. Families with children 17 years and younger enter and eat in our family dining space where they feel most welcomed. Other guests enter and eat in our main dining room. About half of our guests are homeless persons and we work to try and connect them with a variety of resources including housing.

https://houseofbread.org/ House of Bread accepts up to six volunteers each day. The volunteer shift is 10:00 am – 1:30 pm and includes food preparation, lunch serving, and clean up. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers register on our website as listed above. |
