| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | A group of teachers started Hope Chest in 1967. They began collecting coats for children who weren’t attending school because they had no coat to wear in cold weather. We have expanded to include all types of clothing, shoes, books, backpacks and housewares. Clients who visit Hope Chest are referred by schools, churches and Jobs and Family Services. They pick items from our “store” free of charge. |
