What is the mission of your organization?
His Eye Is on the Sparrow Animal Rescue specializes in finding Forever Homes for homeless cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies. Our ministry is based on Matthew 10:29 “not one animal is forgotten in God’s sight.” We care for these forgotten pets and match them with homes that are willing to make these dogs and cats a loving part of their family forever. Our animals are strays saved from being homeless, from kill shelters, or from other dangerous situations. We provide them with shelter, food, veterinary care, love, and attention. We rely on volunteers to help us, In addition to running our Rescue, our founder and managing director is an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church in the Cincinnati area.

Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists?
While our focus in on the care and homing of our animals, we also have a profound impact on the people who adopt their new family member from us, on our volunteers, and our community. In addition to rescuing animals and finding them homes, we also sometimes provide families with medical care for an injured or sick animal that they are unable to provide for, believing the best home for an animal is with its owner if we can help the family keep the animal. We rely on donations to fund the running of the rescue, and we are very grateful that you have nominated us for this opportunity!! Thank you for recognizing the impact animal rescue has in many ways for multiple beneficiaries.
