| What is the mission of your organization? |
HBC provides opportunities to heal, learn, and thrive for people touched by the justice system. Working within corrections and in reentry and prevention, HBC created new and unprecedented educational, artistic, and transformational opportunities, so that people are able to live, wherever that may be, as healthy, contributing, and valued members of their communities.

We work with people who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, or simply impacted by the incarceration system. We have art events where all of our artists fit into this category. We also have programs in some facilities as well as the library. We work with youth and adults alike on social emotional learning and then also expression (via art).

Students could be volunteers for HOPE programs in libraries in the city. We are currently at MLK and Parsons and could use peer level volunteers.
