| What is the mission of your organization? | |
| Our mission is to build culturally responsive literacy ecosystems that center Black history and educational excellence. We strengthen reading proficiency and identity development while expanding early college awareness. We create sustainable pipelines to HBCUs and higher education. We support whole-child development through literacy, culture, and community. Our goal is to ensure students are academically prepared, culturally grounded, and empowered to thrive across educational pathways and life opportunities. | |
| Which social causes (up to 3 choices) does your agency address through its programming? * |
|
| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? |
Thank you for considering the HBCU Literacy Hub. We help students build strong literacy skills while introducing them to the history, culture, and opportunities of HBCUs. Your support will help us provide books, HBCU college tours, family literacy events, and resources for high school students as they prepare for college, including scholarships, financial aid, and college readiness information. Together, we can inspire more students to pursue higher education.
