A recent Community Needs Assessment identified overall health indicators, as well as trasportation barriers and food insecurity were amongst the highest areas of need in Switzerland County.

| CFSCI provides funding for the FFA Community Garden and there is continuous needs throughout the summer to assist with the garden. Additionally, CFSCI provides weekend snack backs to elementary students in Switzerland County and we appreciate any volunteers to asssit with this program. CFSCI funds numerous camps and programs throughout the year where volunteers are often needed. Examples would include the SC Historical Society “Back-to-Basics” camp, YMCA Summer camp, Hoosier Theater camp and the SC Food Pantry distribution, just to name few. | |
