What is the mission of your organization?
Cincy Swish Basketball is a non-profit basketball organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to provide exceptional basketball opportunities for athletes of all abilities. We aim to help each athlete to grow as an individual through the game of basketball, sportsmanship, and community outreach. We believe that competitive basketball should be affordable. We are committed to “all-inclusive” registration fees which cover all league and tournament fees, referee fees, gym rental and equipment costs, AAU registration and insurance, and uniforms. We also recognize that many athletes prefer to play multiple sports and therefore remain flexible with limited travel outside the Cincinnati area. We play in several tournaments throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons. We also offer camps, clinics, and workouts throughout the year. Our Swish Spirit program which, through interaction with our coaches and players, teaches basketball fundamentals to athletes with disabilities. Our coaching staff consists of experienced coaches from all levels of youth basketball including AAU and Select divisions.

Most schools have between $1000 and $1500 to grant. How could your organization use a grant of this size? *	We offer scholarship programs for players in low income families, to give these girls a chance to grow as a basketball player. We would also use it to help fund our Swish Spirit program helping students with disabilities have the same the chance to play and be apart of a basketball team. Help low income families girls play basketball Help purchase uniforms and equitment for both Cincy Swish and Swish Spirit Help fund for gym time Help take teams to AAU Nationals Help run camps and clinics for extra practice for both Cincy Swish and Swish Spirit
Any other comments you would like to share with the students who might be reviewing your request?	We have volunteer coaches and help keep cost of playing an AAU sport as inexpersive as possible. We want to provide a great coaches and staff to young girls want to learn and grow in the game of basketball. We also put the girls first and want them to be successful on and off the court.
