| What is the mission of your organization? | We create a network of worker-owned co-ops (e.g. businesses) that provide family-sustaining jobs, benefits, and training with no exclusions to applicants. Workers are given continual training to improve their abilities to advance in the co-op. They are given the opportunity to become an owner of the co-op, having more control over the operation of their work life. By creating this network of worker-owned co-ops, we are creating an economy that works for all and not just a few. |

| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | We believe that creating jobs for people who may have had few opportunities, we create a way for people to build job and life skills that enable them to provide for themselves and their families. We are about people not profit which helps to build and strengthen communities. Our work is about economic justice for all. |
