Adams Brown Community Action Partnership (ABCAP) is a non-profit organization that helps people in Adams and Brown Counties, Ohio.

We’re not a business that tries to make money. Instead, we use our funding to support individuals, kids, families, and seniors who need a little extra help.
ABCAP has been serving the community since 1965. That’s more than 60 years of helping local people build stronger, more stable lives.

We want fewer people to struggle just to afford food, housing, and heat. We work toward a future where everyone has what they need to live safely and with dignity.

“Self-sufficient” means being able to take care of yourself and your family without always needing emergency help. We don’t just fix problems for one day. We help people build skills and stability for the long term.

Adams and Brown Counties are mostly rural, which means people can live far apart and services aren’t always close by. We listen to what our community needs and create programs to meet those needs right here at home.
