| Known also as “Cincy CARE,” we assumed responsibility for Hamilton County animal services in August 2020, becoming the state’s first open-admission municipal shelter committed to the humane no-kill philosophy, which means only euthanizing an animal when there is no other option for a live outcome. Cincinnati Animal CARE’s leadership team encompasses decades of combined experience in all aspects of animal welfare, from sheltering and emergency veterinary care to behavior assessment and animal training. These skills, combined with compassion and dedication, are put to daily use with the more than 8,000 animals that come through our doors each year. | |
