| What is the mission of your organization? | More than 1,000 children die every day from diseases caused by drinking unsafe water. P&G, in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has developed a low-cost technology to purify even heavily contaminated drinking water so that it meets World Health Organization standards for safe drinking water. |

The innovation became the foundation for the CSDW Program. With only a bucket, a stick, and a clean cloth, this small packet, engineered to be a mini water treatment plant, purifies 10 liters of dirty, potentially deadly, water into clean drinkable water in only 30 minutes. |
