| What is the mission of your organization? | Waweza Movement’s purpose is to rescue the lowly and forgotten and to introduce restoration and hope in their lives. The movement is working in Kakamega Kenya and runs an orphanage with over 40 children. Our goal is to provide these kids and others in the community with the tools and resources they need to thrive; and eventually, to help improve the environment around them. |

| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | We recently started a new project: “The Camaraderie Campaign”. The goal of this project is to engage high school students in the Cincinnati area with students alike in Kakamega, Kenya. For ten dollars a month, any student can become a comrade supporting a high school student across the world. The idea behind this concept is that, “When everyone does a small part, it becomes something great.” As a monthly supporter, students receive regular updates on the student(s) they support. |
