What is the mission of your organization? | |
Conservation through raptor rehabilitation, education and research.
RAPTOR Inc. receives over 325 injured/orphaned birds of prey annually. Birds of prey are an important part of the environment, maintaining a balance with prey species. Since many birds of prey are hurt due to human interactions, we need to protect them. We are able to release over 50% of the birds which we receive for care. We present over 300 educational presentation annually. Our educational presentations teach people why raptors are important and inspire them to protect them. The research we do is published and what we learn can be applied to help with conservation. |

Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | Our organization is a (c) 3 nonprofit organization and need philanthropists to help us with our mission. Foundations are important and help us serve the community through their generous gifts. Annually, we serve over 13 counties in southwestern Ohio and northern Kentucky. We wouldn’t be able to do this if it wasn’t for the generosity of philanthropists who believe in our mission and support RAPTOR Inc. Please consider us! Thank you. |
