Warm Welcomes Foster Care Outreach was started in 2013 by Krista and Howard Lorenz and their five young children after having their eyes and hearts forever opened to the needs of children in foster care during their time as a foster family. Scripture is clear about the call to serve, protect, and WELCOME children, especially, those most vulnerable.
LUKE 9:48 (NIV) Each child, family, adult, business, and small group can answer that call in simple, tangible, and lasting ways. Warm Welcomes FCO, was built out of the need to raise individual awareness of the estimated 399,546 children in foster care in the US (as of 9/2012) and to develop connections between children and their communities, schools, and churches. It is the hope that simple signs of support, encouragement, and being loved and valued by those around you, will help build children up in a positive way that has brought us to this very moment. WWFCO currently serves foster children ages 0-18 from local agencies in Butler, Hamilton, and Warren Counties of Ohio. |
