| As a nonprofit hospice, Hospice of Cincinnati (HOC) provides more than $1.9 million each year in free programs and services that improve the lives of patients and their families. These services go beyond the basic level of care covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Because HOC is a nonprofit organization, it does not have shareholders. Instead, any money it earns is reinvested to improve care and support for patients. HOC’s ability to provide these extra services depends on the generosity of community partners like Magnified Giving and the dedication of its volunteers, who help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing serious illness and end-of-life challenges. | |
