| What is the mission of your organization? |
The Samaritan Car Care Clinic operates the only non-profit vehicle repair shop in the Northern Kentucky region. The Clinic addresses two unmet needs: 1) remove transportation barriers faced by low-income families on their road to self-sufficiency; and 2) offer a work co-op position for low-income community college students who aspire to be auto technicians, but can’t “learn by
doing” at a conventional repair shop or auto dealership because they don’t have their own tools. |

The Clinic works on a referral basis with more than 10 social service agencies in Northern Kentucky. The Clinic was able to help 389 families in 2025 with critically needed repairs and maintenance. 80% of families referred to the Clinic were female headed households.
