To improve the lives of persons with Lowe syndrome and their families through fostering communication, providing education and supporting research so that individuals can attain their highest potential.

This rare condition affects only boys- who are born with cataracts, kidney dysfunction and cognitive impairment. We are headquartered in Cincinnati Ohio but support the global Lowe syndrome community.

1) Local fundraising to raise awareness (see # 6 below) 2) Newsletter pieces: Short poems, reflections, art, or “words of encouragement” to spotlight youth voices. 3) Artwork for awareness: Design t-shirts, stickers, or graphics for conferences and fundraisers. 4) Digital “Wall of Encouragement”: Submit encouraging messages, drawings, or photos to post on the LSA website or social media.5) Video greetings: Record short video messages of encouragement for families worldwide. 6) School fundraisers: Host bake sales, sports-themed events. Awareness campaigns: Create posters, TikTok/Instagram reels, or short presentations to raise awareness of LS at their school. Student-led teams for Walk, Run, or Roll: Recruit peers to join or donate during the Giving Tuesday event. Coin drives or “round-up challenges”: Small, student-led initiatives that add up and raise visibility. |
