| At United Way of Lake County, we work to identify the greatest education, health and financial stability gaps in Lake County and connect business and community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and volunteers to work toward solutions to these problems. All funds contributed to UWLC’s community fund are put directly into four areas: funding effective nonprofit programs that work to improve the quality of life for our friends and neighbors, supporting Lake County’s nonprofits through volunteer coordination and food drives, convening high school students to learn about their community and philanthropy, and raising awareness about and support to address the greatest challenges facing our community. | |
