Leadership Akron’s mission is to inspire, strengthen and empower leaders.
Our vision is to unlock the potential of leaders and serve as a catalyst that drives them to create a greater Akron. We accomplish this through the principles of: Excellence: Delivering the highest quality experiences, initiatives and network to ensure the most valuable service and outcomes. Connectivity: Serving as the primary agent for deepening relationships and fostering synergies between leaders and the community. Experiential Growth: Providing exclusive access, unmatched experiences and unparalleled collaboration to drive growth throughout the leadership continuum. Inclusivity: Modeling diversity and inclusivity in every aspect and supporting leaders to address inequities within their spheres of influence. Leadership Akron programming engages participants as young as Juniors in high school, to college students, to professionals varying from young to mid-career to seasoned, and also recent retirees.
All programming features comprehensive community sectors including: Parks & Environment, Education, Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Community & Economic Development, Arts & Culture, Healthcare, Social Services, Justice, and Civic Leadership |
