| What is the mission of your organization? | Our mission is to help local, state, and federal emergency services agencies locate missing people. We do this by using highly trained scenting dogs who are able to detect and discriminate the distinctive scent signatures every person leaves behind. |

| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | Unfortunately, Buckeye Search and Rescue Dogs does not have one particular category where we fit. I selected animals because our partners are dogs and they are the true heroes when it comes to finding missing people. I chose Children because many of the individuals we search for are missing children. We also do presentations to many children’s organizations and schools. And Health was chosen because many of the people who are missing have serious health issues, or can experience multiple health issues when they become lost. |
